Four senior Munster players - CJ Stander, Mike Haley, Damian de Allende and RG Snyman - have been treated for burn injuries received following an accident over the weekend.
All four required hospital treatment after the incident but are expected to make full recoveries.
Haley and Stander both sustained injuries to their hands, according to a statement from Munster Rugby, while De Allende and Snyman suffered more substantial burns to legs, hands and face.
“We are hugely relieved that the lads are all ok," Munster head coach Johann van Graan said.
“The players have all been treated and are being well looked after with Damian and RG meeting the specialist again later this week to review next steps of their recovery.”
The pair, who were both included in Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus's squad for this summer's Lions tour, have been stood down from their respective training regimes and their participation against the tourists would appear to now be in doubt.
Stander and Haley could return to training at some stage this week ahead of Friday's Rainbow Cup clash with Zebre in Parma (LIVE on eir sport 1 from 5.30pm).
However, their progress will be reviewed before any decision is made.
