International prop Dave Kilcoyne has signed a new three-year contract extension with Munster.
The Limerick native, who is a product of the Thomond Park academy, has played 39 times at international level and featured in all of Ireland’s games at last year’s World Cup.
A firm favourite with the Thomond Park faithful, he made his debut for Munster against Connacht back in 2011 and has since played over 180 times for the province.
Securing Kilcoyne’s signature is another crucial step in the re-building process undertaken by Johann van Graan since he took over as head coach in October 2017.
Munster fans will be further boosted by the news that hooker Kevin O’Byrne has signed a new two-year deal.
A key figure in the province’s A team British & Irish Cup success in 2016-17, he has figured in 18 out of 19 first team games this season so far, including all six Champions Cup pool fixtures.
