eir sport pundit Peter Stringer says Munster will "need to be brave" if they are to have any chance of beating Leinster in their re-scheduled PRO14 encounter this Saturday (EXCLUSIVELY LIVE on eir sport 1 from 6.30pm).
The legendary former Munster and Ireland scrum-half was speaking with eir sport colleagues Gordon D'Arcy and Tommy Bowe ahead of what many are calling the biggest game of the season so far.
The game, originally set for St. Stephen's Day but was postponed due to COVID-19 testing issues, could have a massive influence on who makes the final which will be contest between the two conference winners at the end of March.
Munster are eleven points clear of Connacht at the top of Conference B, while Leinster five points adrift of leaders Ulster in Conference A with two games in hand.
Victory for Johann van Graan's men at Thomond Park on Saturday would make them strong favourites to make the final and would possibly deal a critical blow to Leinster's chances of retaining the title they have won for the last three years in succession.
Munster have been in excellent form throughout the campaign, but Stringer is taking nothing for granted.
